Outside of your art form, where do you find inspiration?
Film. I love to watch movies/tv. Especially, a really good film, how it’s written/the style it’s shot in. Also, my interactions with other people/strangers.
What is your favourite space?
My bedroom. I like being in my own space.
Is there something you learnt early in your career that you have now disproven?
Not yet. I feel like I’m still learning and it’s early in my career.
How much of a role do other musicians play in inspiring your work?
I feel like they play a decent part, especially producers. I'm very hands on with my producers and production. I feel like setting the right vibe drives the song/songwriting.
How does visual aesthetic come into play in your work?
My music is very out there and different, so I feel like with my look it’s the same... different.
What are the core values behind your art?
Being honest, having fun, and not caring about what everyone might think.
What would be your ultimate song to cover?
All I Do by Stevie Wonder. It’s one of my favorite love songs.
Who is on your dream collaboration list?
Top 5 would have to be Kanye West, Tyler the Creator, Miley Cyrus, Rosalia, and Post Malone.
Are there any creatives you'd like to platform right now?
I have been listening to a lot of Mk.gee and Teezo Touchdown. I think they’re dope. Teezo’s debut album was amazing. TiaCorine has also been in rotation for me, I love her vibe.
What is your spirit animal?
I feel like I’d be a black Jaguar. I think they look cool lol. I also love cats.
What do you own that you should throw out, but can’t?
Nothing that I can think of. I actually don’t have problems parting ways with old things.
If you could time travel, who are you visiting?
If I could time travel to the past, I’d visit my brother to see him one last time again; he passed away in July.
If you could change the end of any film what would it be and what would you change it to?
Marley and Me. I would leave out the part where the dog dies. It’s so sad.
