Miu Miu closes Paris Fashion Week at Palais d'Iena with new found nostalgia and delicate androgynous layers - a comforting motif after we’ve spent the last three years inside in perma-loungewear, dreaming of the outfits we would wear once the world reopened. The athletic-to-CEO looks were accompanied with claymation-crafted monsters by Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg, “The animated monster is our repression and anxiety, our hidden collective unconscious, our unacknowledged desires and unspeakable fears - a process of revealing the secrets of the self, and at the same time an encounter with the real other.”* a beautiful reflection on the human curse of living with uncertainty.
